VISUALIZING THE NEWS

I began my journalism career as a graphics reporter. In retrospect, I had been practicing for the profession long before I started my career right out of college. I was comfortable and confident. Didn’t realize I had joined a community of visual storytellers until I met other news artists. My graphics were the stories of wars and science. Business data was given life and tragedy treated with respect.
